I've bought some pretty stickers and a stamp, so gone are the days of multi-coloured washi tape and tissue paper with sparkles throughout adorning your package. (Maybe)
I think this look is more refined for Ferne & Co. Looking back, though, it's important to have these "why did I?" memories with regards to a new business. It's new, fragile, and you have no idea what you're doing. So let's throw everything you can at it, right? I think my previous packaging was more "me" whereas this is more "Ferne & Co."
Here's a bad, "at-night" picture from my i-phone of some packages I just wrapped, because this blog is where I can post those sort of photos without instagram-Pinterest shame. Simple, effective, direct, brand-personal. And a bit more environmentally friendly thanks to some elements made from recycled materials.
This is a mix of market-purchase and online-purchase packaging, but it still looks pretty good together.
